How a Supergirl Stand alone could do Great in the DC Extended Universe

 With more movies in the DC Extended Universe being filmed, produced, being written and yet to go into production, there are ways that Warner Bros can make one of them great and not flip flop or bore fans out with its conservative selection on characters and story plots. Supergirl has been confirmed to get her own stand alone in the franchise and while it's still in pre-production, we should make our demands to Warner Bros Studios on what we want them to include in the film, even if they have to delay it to a later date in the future.

Now, here is what the people developing the DCEU Supergirl movie should include and why;

*The title to be "Girl of Steel".

*The film must take place in the same universe as Henry Cavill's Superman

* Supergirl is to appear as Superman's cousin and Kal-el is to train her on how to become a hero and maintain her responsibility as an individual on Earth

*Silver Banshee (Siobhan McDougal) is to be cast as the main villain in the DCEU Supergirl film as an enemy Superman fought before his confrontation with Doomsday in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice whether the plot takes place on Michael Keaton's Batman's universe or the primary one

*Supergirl is to meet Johnny Ostrander as her love interest and learn what love is all about on Earth.

*The studio must cast several supporting characters who have not or have barely been seen on screen in years

*The setting must take place in Metropolis, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and Chicago, Illinois

*The movie must have a 2 hour + runtime

Now, here are the stars and characters for Warner Bros to include, what each of their roles in the film should be, how they would stand out, and why;

Sasha Calle as Kara Zor-el/Linda Danvers/Supergirl, the titicular protagonist who arrives on Earth, reunites with her cousin Kal-El/Superman and learns what it's like to be human while discovering her new found powers. As a Colombian American, Sasha has captured the attention of many DC comic book fans and is sure to put on quite a show as the Girl of Steel.

Katie McGrath as Siobhan McDougal/Silver Banshee, the potential main villain of the film. Silver Banshee was an enemy who originally crossed paths with Superman in the comics before crossing paths with Supergirl in the 90's and has ever since been one of the cousins of steel's most relentless adversaries ever to encounter. Since portraying Lena Luthor in the CW series, McGrath is no stranger to Supergirl fans and having portrayed the villainous role of Morgana from Merlin, Katie would make a terrific Silver Banshee in the DCEU and seeing her go head-to-head with Sasha Calle in the upcoming Supergirl film would be sweet. Much like the comics, Banshee would appear as a villain Superman originally came face to face with before his death in Batman Vs. Superman Dawn of Justice who would eventually cross paths with the girl of steel in an awesome battle where in an effort to spite the man of steel for thwarting her hopes of being human again, she would use her powers to try and kill the girl of steel to make him suffer. Since McGrath was cast as Lena Luthor in the CW series, Warner Bros can go ahead and make Lena and Siobhan McDougal one person in the DCEU with the character being an adopted sister of Lex Luther, having the name "Lena Luthor" being Silver Banshee's adopted American name with her real name being "Siobhan McDougal" and her reasons for becoming the villain should involve having died in the aftermath of the Man of Steel movie's final battle with the Kryptonian Military Guild before being ressurrected as Silver Banshee. Thus, blaming him for what she became and how desperate she is at getting back to normal. She would be a formiddable foe to the Girl of Steel, but Supergirl won't back down against an enemy capable of taking her head on so easily when it comes to having others by her side when Banshee has none.

Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Kal-el/Superman, the last son of Krypton and protector of Metropolis. Henry Cavill is looking forward to appearing alongside Sasha Calle in her upcoming standalone as the man of steel and is currently waiting for Warner Bros to give him the green light to reprise his role from previous movies in the DCEU. I hope so too because as of right now, no one at this point is worthy of replacing Cavill as Superman. By having him back for the DCEU Supergirl movie, Clark would meet his cousin Kara for the first time and help her understand the basics of adapting with the people of Earth, learning how to control her powers, and understanding the morals between right and wrong.

Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Superman's fiance and love interest who works at the Daily Planet and has always been supportive for Clark Kent all the way

Italia Ricci as Lucy Lane, Lois' sister and former military officer in the DCEU turned CEO of a corporate enterprise in the wake of it's former CEO and founder's death by Silver Banshee In the comics, Lucy eventually becomes Superwoman who fought against Supergirl later on. Because of this, Lucy would serve as the girl of steel's "Lex Luthor" throughout the franchise.

Teyona Parish as Mattie Harcourt, best known in the DC comics as a host ensnared by Silver Banshee in the comics who sought vengeance against her brother's killer in Virginia. Parish would be an excellent choice for Mattie but whether her version in the DCEU will be a close friend of Supergirl's or a person just calling out to her for help would be decided by whoever directs and produces this movie.

Hunter Sansone as Johnny Ostrander, a friend of Supergirl's in the comics. Much like Pete Ross, Ostrander is another character from the comics who has been overdue to appear on the screens and it would be great to have in the movie as Supergirl's love interest.

Wayne Knight as Toyman, one of many of Superman's enemies who would serve as a former toy company CEO turned gang leader targeting the very competitors who've bankrupted him. He would serve as a minor antagonist for Supergirl to take on during the start of her career as a superhero before confronting the Silver Banshee. Wayne Knight would make one hell of a wild and psychotic version of the Toyman if he were to portray the DCEU version of the villain.

Boyd Holbrook as Simon Tycho, a ruthless businessman who in the comics became obsessed with Supergirl since they first met in Siberia who in the DCEU would serve as the head of his own company who got himself deeply involved in US politics and criminal organizations only to be killed off by a vigilant Silver Banshee.

Laurence Fishbourne as Perry White, editor of the Daily Planet,

Also, here are two more that should be included in the film for a post-credit scene to set up future plans for the DCEU;

Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the Crone

and Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam, the anti-hero and archrival of Shazam who should make a cameo where he goes out to recruit Silver Banshee as a potential member of a team he is assembling.

Some of you think that this is all fan fiction that isn't worth getting Warner Bros to fulfill. But guys, aren't some of you bored of some of the same old same olds on what villains the company chooses for Superman related films, aren't some of you irritated on how CW never bothered to leave room for more characters from the comics to appear in the Supergirl series that the producers wasted time on making things up and having the show end with just 6 seasons because of a pandemic? Aren't you also bothered that Warner Bros hasn't taken the time to include characters from the comics who haven't been seen on the big or small screens before? And do you wish to see film producers and script writers do better on what to excite us with and not always make the bad guy everything space, tech, or billionaire megalomaniac related?

Also, to those of you who were upset with Disney and Marvel Studios for stalling on the Mandarin's debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe over their greed, their shareholders telling them what to do, as well as China being the reason why Marvel at the beginning of the franchise was too reluctant to introduce the actual version of the character until Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings? Sure, they may or may not do Iron Man 4 to help fulfill the MCU fans of seeing Iron Man fighting the real Mandarin over salary and schedueling conflicts, but you know . . . what I am saying is that we can't let people who run every movie studio like Warner Bros to keep holding out and screwing us over their desperation for profits and glory, over their fears of reaching negative reviews, or because of their shareholders telling them what to do?

Plus, have you all noticed just how outrageous it was for John Cena to apologize to China after recognizing Taiwan as a country?! It's embarrassing like all of Hollywood's movie studios answer to another country on what to do.

Come on! They just need to take their time and go through some of the comics to see how they can get some movies featuring these characters to work and then by indulging much of what they've read involving some villains like Silver Banshee and what she went through before and since taking on both cousins of Steel much like how we see Superman helping Supergirl getting to know the ropes at living among humans on Earth and understanding the moral code of conduct of being a superhero. Plus, they should make the plot of the film slightly similar to that of the 2002 Spider-Man movie. Not 100% exact, just . . . more like 25% to 35% involving Supergirl's encounter with Banshee where the villain offers the main choice to join her on what they could accomplish together or keep out of her way before she gets really ticked off and not rely so much on the most popular comic book storylines just to make a movie. Just use what is seen in some of the comics on Supergirl training to become a superhero and much of her and Superman's encounters with Silver Banshee.

You see, much like Firefly from the Batman comics being cast as the villain for the upcoming Batgirl movie, Silver Banshee is a popular enemy of Superman and since Banshee is a female like Supergirl and how relentless she was antagonizing both cousins of steel with her screams, her super strength, flight, and durability and not alien or any human relying on tech, billions, alien powers, or kryptonite, Silver Banshee would be the perfect villainess for the Girl of Steel to face off against in her upcoming film in the DCEU. Plus, characters like her would show more great value to fans worldwide when appearing on the big screens.

They just need to avoid making the movie as intense as Zack Snyder's movies Man of Steel, Dawn of Justice and his cut of the Justice League movie. I mean, we all know that too much violence in a Superhero movie doesn't help the film succeed and we do like the Supergirl film to be as steady as Aquaman, Wonder Woman 1984 and Shazam and if successful, they can get to work on a sequel that features Reign as the big bad and then maybe a third film with Supergirl taking on Superwoman (Lucy Lane).

If any of you interested in the upcoming movie are interested in this article of ideas then please head to Warner Bros studio to make these demands right now before they get started with the casting and we should also look into persuading them to work with Activision on developing a video game adaption tied to the movie like they used to do in the good old days.
