Here's a fan poster I made featuring what characters should be included in the potential Man of Steel 2 film if WBD will ever make it.

Man of Steel 2 and What it Should Include if Greenlit

 While many dc comic book fans are still furious over Batgirl 2022 being shelved for tax cuts by the new regime in Warner Bros Discovery, David Zaslav announced that he is setting up a ten-year plan that involves continuing the DC Extended Universe with most films regarding Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman and rumor has it he is looking to revive the Snyderverse of DC cinematic films. Well, if he is also looking to bring Henry Cavill back as Superman and have a second Man of Steel film produced, there are some things he can do to make up for causing such a shake up at the studios and make the sequel not just big, but worth everyone's time in the future.

First, we want Kara Zor-el/Supergirl to appear for the first time officially and if the Flash Movie does stir up some big changes in the franchise, WBD should use it to alter the character's fate and have her arrive on Earth to meet and train with her cousin on how to become a superhero.

Second, we want Brainiac to be the main villain of the yet to be confirmed Man of Steel 2 movie and we would also love for the studio to include Metallo, Silver Banshee and Cyborg Superman as villains too since they've been holding out from bringing them onto the big screen for too long and I'm sure by now most of us will have had enough of Lex Luthor and General Zod for once in a lifetime! So, Brainiac, Metallo, Silver Banshee and Cyborg Superman it should be.

Third, to plan the plot of the potential Man of Steel sequel out more efficiently than before, WBD should be based mostly on the Superman: Brainiac story arc, parts of it on others like Action Comics 595: The Ghost of Superman, Action Comics #831, Supergirl: The Sound and the Fury, Supergirl: Cries in the Darkness, Supergirl #34: Why the World Doesn't Need a Supergirl, elements of Reign of the Superman and some revolving around Metallo and have Brainiac be the one to create him and Cyborg Superman.

Fourth, Warner Brothers Discovery will need to have 300-330 million to develop this movie if they want it to be big, worth watching, 3 hours long and interesting, and keep the performance steady.

Fifth, if Zack Snyder returns to direct, he should tone the intensity of the movie down a notch.

Sixth, if Warner Brothers Discovery is considering on shooting the Man of Steel sequel, they better make their decision soon and get to work on production ASAP.

Seventh, have Man of Steel 2 cast these actors for these characters.

And finally eight, with everyone pumped up for Black Adam and eager to see him go head to head with Superman and for Johnson aiming towards working with WBD on more standalones featuring his character, Man of Steel 2 is a great opportunity to see the two gods fight each other and with Silver Banshee in the movie, they can have Adam recruit her in the end and get to work on developing a team of his own for future DCEU installments. After all, they want things to big, right? So let's make sure they make future movies in the DCEU big!

Now, to those who are interested in seeing a second Man of Steel movie starring Henry Cavill directed by Zack Snyder please share this with everyone on the world wide web who is a fan of superhero comics ASAP if you want Warner Bros Discovery to get to work on developing this movie right away and contact WBD into having this article of suggestions for the sequel utilized so that we can see more action and awesome characters and stories for the world to experience and not let anything else such as a potential merger with Comcast complicate things like Discovery +'s merger with WB led to Batgirl being cancelled. It's time to stop with the hold ups and get things done.

Which Characters Should Man of Steel 2 Include

With the official stand alone sequel confirmed to be in developement, these are the stars and characters that the movie should include to make it interesting and much better than the first one.


First up are the heroes

Henry Cavill as Superman

Back from the dead, Kal-El will struggle keeping his identity as Clark Kent a secret while saving the world as Superman while catching up with his cousin Kara,

Kelly Rohrbach as Supergirl

Real name Kara Zor-El, Supergirl will make her official DCEU debut either currently dead and yet to be revived by Kal with samples of the Codex inside his dna through blood transfer if it is how Superman will resurrected or currently alive and  somewhere on Earth and she will later on don her own suit and team up with Superman against the film's main antagonist.

and there is Ashley Greene as Siobhan Smythe the Prime Earth Silver Banshee

While Italia Ricci is currently playing the Arrowverse version of the character and is yet to reprise her role in season 2, Ashley Greene will make a great choice as the DCEU's version who will act as the film's tritagonist by being Kara's caretaker and best friend who would also as the Silver Banshee help her and Clark take on the sequel's new big bad known as Brainiac.


Now for the villains to be featured in the Man of Steel sequel


Dave Bautista as Brainiac

As the film's main antagonist, Brainiac's plot in this movie would be slightly similar to Superman Unbound and with him as a living super computer with limitless resources in his posession, he would make the cut as the best big bad for the sequel to go with. Dave Bautista, who is known for playing Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy films should be able to pull off the role of Brainiac for the sequel and if he can't be Brainiac due to schedule conflicts well there will be others like him that will get the part and make his plans on taking Metropolis into his collection as the villain

Michael Fassbender, Gerald Butler, Rick Cosnett or Logan Marshall Greene for Metallo

After the events in Man of Steel, there would be plenty more civilians that have lost their legs and walking capability from the aftermath of Black Zero's gravity shockwaves and Superman's battle against General Zod so John Corban would be among those individuals and with Lex Luthor's remaining kryptonite and a body provided by Brainiac, Corban would have his mind transferred into the body and then take his vengeance on the man of steel and his long lost cousin as the menacing supervillain Metallo!


or if not Metallo then there is Bizarro

a villain that was reportedly rumored to appear in the Man of Steel sequel with Supergirl and Brainiac


and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor

the psychotic billionare who was incarcerated for his crimes against the world for bombing the Capital and for creating Doomsday to kill Superman is right now locked up in Arkham Asylum but if he gets out of containment by bail or breakout, he will team up with Brainiac and turn John Corban into Metallo to kill Superman


and finally here are the supporting cast for the film to include

Amy Adams as Lois Lane

Daily Planet reporter and Superman's sole love interest who is expected to marry him at the end of the movie

Dylan O'Brien as Thomas Smythe

Siobhan Smythe's brother and one of Supergirl's boyfriends and since Jimmy Olsen is dead, Tom will be Kara's love interest here in the DCEU.

Diane Lane as Martha Kent

Clark Kent's adoptive mother


Laurence Fishburne as Perry White

Chairman and editor of the Daily Planet

Rebecca Buller as Jenny
